Sandpoint Quilting Classes

As well as regularly scheduled classes, which are held at Stitchin’ Sisters in Sandpoint, Idaho, private and specialty classes are available upon request. If you have a group who would be interested in a private class or a special presentation at your guild meeting, contact Colleen for availability.

Introduction to Paper Piecing $65.00

Learn all the tricks and techniques to paper piecing! Make this lovely wall hanging with the blocks beginning very basic and progressing to slightly more complex as you proceed through the book. Just think! The Mariners’ Compass, New York Beauty and so many more fabulous patterns will now all be yours for the making! $65. Class is 4 weeks and includes the book written by Colleen as well as the paper for piecing!

Tuesday, September 16 from 5:30-8:30 PM, and next three Tuesdays, through October 7.

Beginners Quilting Class $75

This in-depth class teaches several quilting and piecing techniques, as well as invaluable information about fabric, color, threads, needles, battings, tools and gadgets. This class runs 3 hours per week, and in 8 weeks long. Class fees include the book Introduction to Quilting written by Colleen as well as several of the needed materials. $75.00 (This class always fills fast and has a maximum of 6 students – sign up early to ensure your place!)

Thursday, September 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, and next seven Thursdays, through November 6.

Intermediate Quilting Class $65

This intermediate class teaches more advanced quilting and piecing techniques, including both traditional and paper piecing. This class runs 5 hours per week, and is 5 weeks long. Class fees include the Bear Paw pattern book written by Colleen. $65.00

Sunday, October 19 from 10 AM to 3 PM, and next four Sundays, through November 30.
